Abstract

The growth analysis in castor cultivars showed a significant difference for plant height, number of nodes, LAI, CGR, NAR, dry matter production and yield contributing characters. Tall cultivars with short duration (120–130 days) showed higher values for number of branches, leaf area, LAI, CGR and dry matter accumulation compared to dwarf cultivars with long duration (180 days).
