Greenhouse experiment employing 32 p carried out to evaluate the DAP, SSP and SSP amended with sodium silicate, mechanical compost+ press mud and sodium pyrophosphate + biogas slurry in relation to P utilization by pea revealed that per cent P derived from fertilizer (% Pdff) and fertilizer P uptake increased steadily from 27.25 to 41.49 and 2.57 mg to 6.07 mg/pot, respectively. Phosphate utilization declined gradually from 11.15 to 8.79 on increasing the levels of P from 30 kg to 90 kg P2O5/ha. Among the fertilizer sources, SPP + sodium pyrophosphate + biogas slurry emerged out the best followed by SSP + sodium silicate + mechnical compost + press mud, SSP + sodium silicate, SSP and DAP as judged from the values of drymatter yield, fertilizer P uptake and per cent P utilization.
