A field experiment was conducted to investigate the individual and combined effects of basal potassium aplication (0, 20 and 40 kg K ha−1) and water stress viz, - 0.3 bar normal, - 0.6 bar and -0.9 bar on energy harvesting efficiency (EHE) of groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) var. GAUG 1 (Spanish bunch). Higher energy values were recorded in all plant parts under potassium application as compared to control. Maximum EHE was recorded with 20 Kg K ha−1 on PAR basis. Decrease in EHE due to soil moisture stress was significant on PAR basis.
