An experiment was conducted to study the physiological and biochemical processes involved in clustered fruits formation in mango cv. Deshehari. Rate of photosynthesis and chlorophyll content were low in leaves of shoot bearing clustered fruits than in leaves bearing normal fruits. Howerver, in clustered fruit, the chlorophyll content was found relatively more than the normal ones. The rate of respiration, reducing sugars activities of polyphenol oxidase and amylase enzymes were also observed higher in clustered fruits.
