Correlative analysis of growth, yield and yield characters of two plant types of cotton carried out at Agronomy Department of the Haryana Agricultural University, Hissar, indicated that the seed cotton yield of two plant types of cotton was positively associated with dry matter of different plants parts. Among various quantitative characters studied plant height showed positive correlation with each of the characters. However, the boll weight was found to be negatively correlated with dry weight of different parts and seed cotton yield.
