Plants of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L. var M 194) were treated with 5 and 50 mg/plant of B-Nine, CCC and Phosphon D and were subsequently subjected to waterlogging. Waterlogging decreased the number of nodules, dry weight of the root and shoot, number of flowers and the chlorophyll content of the leaves. The deleterious effects of the treatment on nodule number was partially relieved and on chlorophyll content of the leaves was fully relieved by B-Nine.
