Abstract

Four promising varieties of wheat were tested at six different locations i. e. Gwalior, Powarkheda, Sehore, Saugar, Khargone and Indore in special adaptation trials. The results analysed on the basis of stability parameters for seed size and protein quality characters indicated, (i) average stability for seed size in Kalyansona, Raj-911 Jai Raj and Sonalika and protein (defatted basis) in Raj 911 and Sonalika (ii) below average stability for protein (defatted) in Jai Raj, for methionine in Jai Raj and Sonalika, for tryptophan and protein digestability in Raj 911 and Jai Raj and (Hi) the above average stability for protein (defatted basis) in Kalyansona, for methionine in Raj 911 for tryptophan and protein digestability in Kalyansona.
