Summary In the experiment on sandy loam soil of Gauhati, Assam dwarf wheat variety Kalyansona was raised with N, P, K and Ca under 0, 40, 80, 120 and 160 kg/ha during rabi 1971–72. N, P, Kat 129.20, 82.40 and 63.60 kg/ha levels, respectively were found producing maximum yield of grain, whereas 120.8 kg N, 66.4 kg P, 05 and 25.6 kg K2O per hectare were economic levels in respect of yield. The effect of calcium was not found significant.
