Carbondioxide compensation concentration (CO2CC) is inluenced to a greater extent by growth stage in pea and sorghum. Moisture stress and nitrogen fertilization increased CO2CC. Even sorghum, which is a C4 plant, showed CO2CC in the same range as that of a C2 plant towards maturity and also when moisture stress was given.
