Nitrate reductase activity (NRA) in leaves at 60, 90 and 120 days after sowing and protein content of grain and grain yeild at harvest were determined in 12 wheat genotypes in two eiperiments during 1978–79 and 1979–80, Correlation studies between NRA at different stages with protein content and grain yield per spike were also made.
