Abstract

The length, fresh and dry weight of the embryo axis of cowpea and grant decreased by increasing salinity levels. Application of B-9, either through germination media or by presoaking seed-treatment, additively inhibited the seedling growth under saline conditions, without showing any alleviation of the deleterious effects of salinity.
