Batches of 3-day-old pigeonpea were exposed to SO2 concentrations of 0, 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75 ppm for 3 hours per day for six days. The activity of different fractions of gibberellin-lifce substances from the seedlings eipbsed to SO2 were studied. All the fractions from all parts of the SO2 exposed seedlings showed lower activity with increased exposure concentrations of SO2.
