Results revealed that inderminate cultivar Improved Pelicon (IP) was found to be both thermo and photosensitive and changed growth and seed yields based on day length, heat units (CHU) and length of exposure to light (FLD). Under long day conditions (April-May, planting) IP produced the highest seed yields (59.80 q/ha) in response to maximum CHU (1969.6°) and ELD (1693.8 hrs). Irrespective of CHU, determinate cultivar Hill recorded higher seed yield (48.56 to 49.55 q/ha) under long day conditions (May-June planting) in response to ELD). Under short day conditions (October planting), Hill recorded higher yields (34.89 q/ea). than IP (30.59 q/ha).
