Abstract

A study of 12 genotypes of upland cotton raised in a field trial showed that small thicker leaf (i.e.. lesser single leaf area with higher specific leaf weight) is conducive for enhanced conductance with varying carbon exchange rates. Chlorophyll contents were also higher.
