Abstract

Application of benzyladenine (BA) to 1-day old flowers increased the toll weight in upland cotton (cv ‘H-777’), though the response varied with mean temperature and relative humidity prevailing during the boll growth period. Related fibre properties like mean halo-length, lint index and ginning percentage were not affected,
