Pre-soaked seeds of T. corniculata and T. foenum-graecum were treated with different concentrations of GA3 and IAA, germinated and harvested after 2 weeks and 8 weeks interval to study their steroidal sapogenins. Increased level of steroidal sapogenins (diosgenin and tigogenin) was observed with both the treatments with a maximum enhancement at 100 ppm of GA3 in both Trigonella species.
