Abstract

Different concentrations of salicylic acid, resorcinol and tannic acid were sprayed on Vigna mungo plants at seedling and flowering stages (15 and 65 days after sowing) to determine their effect on chlorophyll content indifferent parts of the developing fruits and on yield components. All the treatments proved to be promotory. Maximum grain yield was obtained with resorcinol (10 ppm) treatment.
