In field experiments conducted on a Zn deficient alluvial sandy loam soil (Typic Ustochrept), zinc application (0, 10 and 20 kg ZnSO4 ha−1) significantly increased the seed yield of pea. Zn content increased in seed and straw. Contents of P and Fe decreased, Mn increased while Cu remained unaffected by the application of zinc.
