Relationship between growth habit and nodulation in groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.)

Considerable variation in nodulation among different groundnut cultivars was observed. It was found that nodulation was higher in sub sp. hypogaea vat. kypogaea over sub sp. fastiglata var fastigiata and var. vulgaris. Growth habit of the groundnut type was found to impart variation in nodulation and the results are discussed.
