Abstract

A steady decline in fruit acidity was observed between 5 to 11 weeks after full bloom (WAFB) followed by a period of sustained level until 17 WAVE and a marginal increase thereafter upto harvest (19 WAFB). Preharvest application of calcium, growth regulators and their combinations did not affect the general pattern of change in fruit acidity but tended to steady these changes as fruit developed on the tree.
