Effect of growth regulators, Mixtalol, Miraculan, Amrutsanjivani, Vardbman, GA3, GA1+7 Fitohorm, Hico-Emulsion IIOR and Alzodef was evaluated on mature tea (China. Assam and Cambod types) for their efficacy in crop yield. The Chinery bushes responded better than Assam, the least being by Cambod type. Mixtalol at 3 ppm and Hico-Emulsion IIOR at 700 ppm on China type, GA3 50 ppm on Assam type increased crop yield considerably. Foliar application thrice at monthly intervals from March to May for early crop and twice in October and November for backend crop was found optimal.
