Efficacy of N A (1, 8-Naphathalic anhydride) as herbicide antidote against atrazine and dithane was bioassayed with nitrate reductase activity. NR activity was inhibited under herbicide application but with NA the activity got enhanced. The results indicate that toxicity of dithane cannot be antagonised.
