Among 21 wheat genotoypes the basic vegetative phase had positive association with unproductive tillers, plant height and sterile spikelets/ear, and inverse relation with productive tillers, grains/ear and grain yield. However, it showed high positive association with total spikelets/ear. Spike development phase was associated with productive tillers, fertile spikelets/ear, ear grain weight, grain/ear and grain yield and anthesis phase with productive tillers and fertile spikelets/ear.
