Culture requirements for the in vitro regeneration of Indigofera teysamanii were studied using Murashige and Skoog (MS) and Gamborg (B5) media, fortfied with certain growth regulators. Callus induction was better in MS medium supplemented with 6-benzjlaminopurine (2.5 ppm) and NAA (0.1 ppm). Shoot buds were induced on sub-culturing in medium of the same composition. On culturing in 4 MS+2 ppm indole-3-butyric acid the isolated shoots produced roots. The optimum response was under continuous illumination.
