Four cumbu (bajra) x napier hybrids, CO 1, TNAU CN 2, TNAU CN 3, BN 2 and one napier x cumbu (bajra) hybrid NB 21 were studied for seasonal variation in morphological expressions and productivity. NB 21 recorded maximum plant height, and TNAU CN 2 had shown maximum root length and number of tillers and leaves. The plant height was more in first season, whereas the root length and number of tillers were high in third season. The number of leaves was not influenced by the seasons, TNAU CN 2 recorded the highest green matter yield and was significantly superior to other hybrids. The first season had the highest green matter yield while the second season had the lowest.
