Abstract

Supplementation of NaCl and Na2SO4 to the germination medium adversely affected in-vitro germination and subsequent pollen tube growth in Datura, Na2SO4 being more inhibitory than NaCl. IAA, BAP and ABA adjunction to the germination medium especially BAP mitigated the adverse effects of 4 and 8 mM NaCl and 4 mM Na2SO4.
