The seeds of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) exposed to pulsed concentrated solar radiation (PCSR) showed increase in yield with increased pulses. An increase to the extent of 8-14% (over control) was observed when the seeds were exposed to PCSR at 300 pulses/minute for 10 minutes.
