Abstract

The aqueous extracts of all the organic wastes namely Lantana camara, Chromalaena odoratum and Trlfolium spp. in general inhibited the uptake of 32P in Vigna mungo seedlings. The aqueous extract of all these organic wastes at all the concentrations, on the other hand, promoted significantly the distribution of 38P to stem and leaves than roots. The extent of distribution in stem and leaves, however, varied with the organic waste and its concentrations.
