Effect of animal hormones on the growth, protein and sugar contents of Vigna unguiculata L. seedlings

Seedling of Vigna unguiculata L. were grown in 10^-10 to 10^-6 M concentrations of hydrocortisone, adrenaline and insulin. There was a significant increase in root length and protein content. Decrease in sugar content occurred at 10^-6 M content ration.
