A pot experiment was conducted to study the dry matter and nutrient accumulation pattern in groundnut (‘TG 17’) on clay soil (Vertic Ustochrept) of Junagadh. The maximum dry matter in plant (51.4%) was accumulated during pod development stage. Shoots accumulated the highest dry matter and nutrients followed by pods and roots. The crop removed in the range of 4.6 to 11.9, 42.3 to 88.1 and 6.4 to 53.0 per cent of the total requirement of different nutrients during vegetative, reproductive and pod development stages, respectively. The peak absorption of Ca, Mg and K took place during reproductive stage, that of P, Mn and Fe during pod development stage and N almost equally during reproductive and pod development stages.
