Twenty five contrasting genotypes of Brassica juneea were studied for changes in root weight, shoot weight, harvest index, yield components, seed yield and oil content under four different moisture environments i.e., S0-irrigated control, S1-stressed for two weeks at siliqua formation, S2-stressed after siliqua formation (110 DAS), and Sa-stressed at siliqua initiation (85 DAS). Moisture stress had adverse influence on different characters but least on root growth and highest on seed yield. These reductions were highest in S3, followed by S2 and S1. Among yield components, highest reduction in S3 over S0 was recorded for seeds per pod (62.5%), followed by pods per plant (56%) and seed size (43.3%). Oil content in seed showed positive linear association with seed size in S2 and S3 treatments.
