The effects of rhizobium inoculation and phosphorus application on dry matter production, nitrogen and phosphorus composition and yield were studied in blackgram cuitivars. There was significant increase in total dry matter production, seed yield and percentage of N and P in component parts of blackgram as a result of inoculation and phosphorus application.
