Growth and yield contributing characters of linseed varieties viz., Neelum, Garima, Subhra and local were studied under induced sodicity viz., control (10), 15, 20, 25 and 30 ESP. Crop growth, dry matter partitioning and yield contributing characters decreased markedly with increasing level of sodicity. Positive correlation was obtained between yield and yield contributing characters viz., capsule plant−1, number of seeds capsule−1 and 1000 seed weight. Beyond 25 ESP level germination did not occure in any of the genotypes tested.
