Abstract

Experiments were conducted with four cultivars of cotton namely G-27, LD-133, LH-372 and F-414 in pot culture conditions. Stress treatments were given at vegetative, flowering and boll formation stages by with holding water supply. Results revealed that moisture stress if imposed at vegetative stage when plants are 6–7 week old, is beneficial for cotton seed production.
