Three gladiolus cultivars viz. Aldebaran, Fusa Subagin and Mayur exhibited differential response to GA3 treatment in terms of size and weight of cormels. The effect was maximum in Cv, Mayur, where 100 mg/l GA3 caused 239.39 and 59.13 percent increase in cormel weight and diameter, respectively, over the untreated ones. Production of cormlets did not change significantly by GA3 application though there was an appreciable increase in their weight and size. The highest increase in size and weight of cormlets was also observed in Cv, Mayur.
