Abstract

The comparative productivity of three sesame cultivars differing in biomass and seed yield was examined at three plant densities. Seed yield was found associated with total branch number and the number and weight of capsules. Average seed yields over densities were 7.07, 9.30 and 7.38 q/ha under 12, 18 and 36 plants per 1.08 m2 respectively.
