Abstract

The effect of reproductive sink manipulation on photosynthesis and dry matter distribution was studied in okra (Abelmoschus esculentum L.) under natural environmental conditions. The reproductive sink removal induced higher growth rates, and significant difference in total dry matter production was observed between control and treated plants.
