Abstract

The studies were conducted to find out the effect of CaCl2 on fruit firmness, physiological loss in weight (PLW) and Fruit calcium content in apple during storage. The loss in rate of fruit firmness and PLW during storage was significantly reduced by dip in CaCl2 more particularly in 4 percent concentration.
