Abstract

Experiment was carried out to see the effect of bioregulators viz., NAA; Potassium nitrate (KNO3) and Kinetin on biochemical constituents and yield of chickpea (variety K 850). Kinetin improved the chlorophyll concentration of leaves but not the yield contributing traits. Application of KNO3 increased the nitrogen content in the leaves but was not effective in flower and fruit setting. NAA was most effective in improving the sugar content and yield of chickpea.
