Abstract

Influence of boron on crop growth and yield of pigeonpea (Cajanus cajan (L.) Millspaugh) cv. LRG 30 was studied. Boron as boric acid at 200, 300 and 400 ppm was given as foliar spray and plant height, growth rates, net assimilation rate, leaf area index and yield were estimated. The data showed that boron increased crop growth and yield of pigeonpea at all concentrations studied.
