The mulberry (Moras alba L. var. Mysore local) was subjected to varied concentrations of NaCl. The total chloropylls, Chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b contents decreased, where as carotenoids and anthocyanins increased under NaCl salinity. Potassium content decreased while the aminoacids, proline and sodium contents increased in the tissue.
