Abstract

A pot culture experiment was conducted with pea on a sandy loam soil consisting of 4 levels each of Mo (0, 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 mg kg−1) and Mn (0, 5, 10 and 20 mg kg−1). Results indicated that the grain and straw yield, Mo content and its uptake increased while Mn content and its uptake decreased consistently with Mo application. The increased levels of Mn enhanced grain and straw yield, Mn content and its uptake but decreased the Mo content.
