Physiological Aspects of Grain Yield of Deep Water Rice Grown in Suraha Lake

Analysis of growth attributes in relation to grain yield was carried out in deep water rice in Suraha Lake. It was concluded that the yield of rice varieties under water logged condition is largely determined by the mobility of reserve carbohydrates to the developing spikelets because of inability of deep water rice to accumulate enough carbohydrate through current photosynthesis.
