Abstract

Parthenium hysterophorus L. and Vernonia cinerea L. common weeds growing in the vegetable crop fields at Tirupati form the experimental material. Glyphosate N- (phosphonomethyl) glycine is relatively a non selective herbicide and can be used for effective control of annual and perennial weeds.
