Field experiments were carried out with soybean (Glycine max L. Merr) in sandy loam soil of Varanasi. Foliar application of boron (B) as boric acid (@ 50 and 100 ppm) and soil application of individual and combined levels of sulphur (S) @. 40 and 80 mg kg1 soil) and iron ((a) 15 and 20 mg kg1 soil) were made. In general, the foliar application of B @ 50 ppm showed an increase in morpho-physiological attributes accompanied by total dry matter production and seed yield. However, chlorophyll ‘a’ was found to be maximum at 100 ppm B. Besides these, the soil applied Fe and S caused significant increase in shoot height, root length, total dry matter production and test weight along with successive increase in oil yield over untreated (control) plants.
