Studies on the Damage of Castor Semi-Looper, Achaea Janata (Linn.) To Some Fruit Plants and Its Chemical Control

Damage caused by castor semi-Iooper, Achaea janata, to some fruit plants was studied and compared with castor. Survival of the pest under laboratory conditions was found to be better on pomegranate and ber leaves, than on guava leaves. Quinalphos and fenitrothion were found to be quite effective in controlling the damage due to the semi - looper.
