Studies were carried out in 1976 on the compatibility of three insecticides (dimethoate, formothion and phosphamidon) and two fungicides (copper oxychloride and agrimycin) against jassid, Sundapteryx biguttula biguttula Ishida, and angular leaf spot disease caused by Xanthomonas malvacearum on cotton. Dimethoate and formothion were found compatible with both the fungicides. Combination of phosphamidon and copper oxychloride was not compatible with respect to insect control; however, it did not lower the effectiveness of copper oxychloride in reducing disease intensity. Mixture of phosphamidon and agrimycin was compatible.
