Abstract

Out of various chemicals tried against leaf spot and crown rot diseases of groundnut, carbendazim proved most effective in che;ckiqg leaf spot.(@ o.I %) and crown rot (@ 1.5 gm/kg. of seed) diseases. Both time of sowing and leaf spot incidence were found to be negatively correlated with yield. Crop sown on 9th July gave best yield.
