Studies on the compatibility and persistence cf thiram with various agrochemicals in soil in vivo using inhibition zone technique with agrochemicals amended soil plugs against Rhizoctonia bataticola indicated that thiram is compatible with most of the agrochemicals tested, except ferrous sulphate. Under in vitro studies, thiram shcwed antagonistic activity with captan, aldrin, temik, phorate, 2, 4-D, hexazine and ferrous sulphate. Persistence of thiram in soil was 77 and 98 days in vivo and in vitro respectively.
