Three sprays of carbendazim in the concentration of 0.025% gave the minimum disease intensity of leaf-spots of groundnut, followed by three sprays of benomyl 0.05% and 0.025% and two sprays of carbendazim 0.025%. The reduced disease intensity has resulted in marked improve-ment in the yield of pods and fodder. The increemental cost benefit ratio was maximum in the treatments of two sprays of carbendazim 0.025% followed by three sprays of the same fungicide at 0.025% concentration.
